The Air talisman is an item that allows players to enter the Air altar. It can be combined with a tiara to make an air tiara for 25 experience at the air altar by using the tiara on the altar. This will make the talisman disappear, but the tiara can be used in just the same way and can be worn. Both the tiara and the talisman allow players to use the Runecrafting skill.
This talisman can be used to create combination runes.
Air talismans can be obtained as drops from level 2 goblins. An Air Wizard located south of Falador occasionally can drop air talismans as well. One is given to players during the Rune Mysteries quest. This has changed. The duke gives the player a talisman instead. Surprisingly enough, it looks a lot like the Air talisman itself.
An air talisman is used in conjunction with a water talisman as tertiary items in creating an ice titan pouch.
Air talismans are also required as an easy task for the Falador diary.

- On the day of the Falador Diary's release, Air talismans would not sell in the Grand Exchange and players had to wait hours and hours for one to sell. However, some chose other methods of obtaining it, such as exchanging Runecrafting tokens for one, killing Air wizards or Goblins, or simply trading with another player.
