The Ailanthus tree is a special tree that is found as a part of the In Pyre Need quest to help rescue the Phoenix. Harvesting branches from this tree gives you the Ailanthus twigs when Secateurs are "used" on this tree. Then a knife is used on the twigs to give Ailanthus weaving ribbon which is one of five weaving ribbons to be used on the pyre to kill the Phoenix and have it reborn.
[edit] Trivia
- The word Ailanthus derives from the word ailanto which means "tree of the gods" or "tree of heaven"
