Adamant hatchet detail

The Adamant hatchet, stronger than the mithril hatchet, can either be used to cut trees at 31 Woodcutting or can be wielded at 40 attack for use in combat. A player with 71 Smithing can make it using one Adamant bar on an anvil while carrying a hammer, granting 62.5 Smithing experience.

A player can also obtain an adamant hatchet as a drop from several monsters including iron dragons and Skeletal Wyverns. This hatchet is also a possible reward from a level 2 treasure trail.

Broken adamant axes were repairable at Bob's Brilliant Axes for 43 Coins each until the random event update on 25 February 2009 when axes could no longer be broken by a random event.

When won on the Squeal of Fortune, it can be converted to 768 coins, the same amount as its High Level Alchemy value.

  • Like all other adamant weapons, the Adamant hatchet used to require 30 Attack to wield; this was changed to 40 Attack with the Evolution of Combat.
