The Adamant hatchet, stronger than the mithril hatchet, can either be used to cut trees at 31 Woodcutting or can be wielded at 30 attack for use in combat. A player with 71 Smithing can make it using one adamantite bar on an anvil while carrying a hammer, granting 62.5 Smithing experience.
A player can also obtain an adamant hatchet as a drop from several monsters including steel dragons and Skeletal Wyverns. This hatchet is also a possible reward from a level 2 treasure trail.
Broken adamant axes were repairable at Bob's Brilliant Axes for 43 Coins each until the random event update on 25 February 2009 when axes could no longer be broken by a random event.
