An Abyssal guardian is a monster that dwells in the Abyss, and also in the Abyssal Area. Abyssal guardians can hit fairly high for their level (up to 14), though they have low defence. Abyssal guardians primarily attack with melee, but can also use long-ranged magic attacks. However, they only use their magic attacks if the player attacks them from a distance and the guardian can't reach the player. They also attack with the Magic attack if you attack them first, but this will probably only happen after they become un-aggressive to you, as they have a very fast reaction time for attacking you.
Note: Their magic attack hits extremely rarely, even in plate armour, so you shouldn't have to worry about it.

- Abyssal guardians' heads have different sides, each representing a happy, angry, sad, and dead face. When it is idling, its happy face is at the front; when it is attacking, it will turn its angry face to the front; when it is being attacked, it will turn its sad face to the front; and when its health is reduced to zero, it will turn its dead face to the front before it dies.
