Abyssal Area

The Abyssal Area can be accessed by using the code ALR in the Fairy Rings network (must have completed certain part of A Fairy Tale Part 2). The abyssal area contains Abyssal demons, Abyssal guardians, Abyssal walkers and Abyssal leeches. Unlike the Abyss, it is not a multicombat area. There is only one Fairy Ring back to Zanaris in the south-east corner of the cavern, and the only other exit is via teleport. This area is popular for killing Abyssal Demons for an Abyssal Whip.

Despite being in the same plane as the Abyss, and having almost the same name (Exactly the same name in the Fairy Ring guide when viewing fairy rings), It is not connected to the Abyss and cannot be used for Runecrafting. However, it can be used for getting runecrafting pouch drops from the various abyssal monsters. For more information, see the Abyss (used for Runecrafting).

Players are not skulled when entering this zone, so there is no need to wear a Forinthry bracelet here. You can see a bit of the edge of this area from the main abyss itself (the main abyss is just south of this area).

This place is popular for abyssal demon hunters because of its close distance to the Zanaris bank through the fairy ring, and the abundance of abyssal demons.
