Absorb Magic was removed from RuneScape after an update.

Absorb Magic was the percentage at which magic damage done to the player was reduced, this could be found on the equip screen under defence bonuses.

Ranged armours (and magic armours to a lesser extent) increase the Magic Absorb percentage.

The best magic absorption percentage was made by wearing Ganodermic Visor, Ganodermic Poncho, Ganodermic Leggings, Eagle-eye kiteshield giving 67% total.
