Abbot Langley is a non-player character (monk) who guards the entrance to the monastery. He prevents players with less than 31 Prayer from entering the guild. He can also restore some of the player's hitpoints if they are injured. Langley has corresponded with the morally dubious yet immensely powerful Wise Old Man of Draynor Village through letters.
- “To Langley, Abbot of the Monastery of Saradomin, greetings:
Long has it been since our last meeting, my friend, too long. Truly we are living in tumultuous times, and the foul works of Zamorak can be seen across the lands. Indeed, I hear a whisper from the south that the power of the Terrible One has been rediscovered! But be of good cheer, my friend, for we are all in the hands of Lord Saradomin.
Until our next meeting, then,
*D”
Abbot Langley also plays a part in the book "Betrayal at Falador".
[edit] Trivia
- In the "Betrayal at Falador", Abbot Langley's name is sometimes spelt incorrectly as "Abbot Langely".
