The Third age range top is a members-only piece of armour that is part of the Third age ranger set. To wear the top the player needs at least 45 Defence and 65 Ranged. To obtain a third age range top the player can either complete a Level 3 Treasure trail or trade with another player or by buying it from Grand Exchange. As it is so expensive it is rarely used except to show wealth. It has identical stats as the Black d'hide body except for Summoning defence; the Black d'hide body has more Summoning defence.
The chance of receiving a 3rd age piece is 1 in 10,000 according to Paul Gower.
