The 2014 Thanksgiving event is the 2014 Thanksgiving holiday event, released on 27 November and will continue through until the end of the Thanksgiving weekend.
During the event, the player has to find turkeys around Gielinor, in a similar manner to Penguin Hide and Seek and the 2008 Thanksgiving event. Ten turkeys are available to free players and another 10 available to members. Tracking down 10 turkeys will unlock "the Thanksgiver" title together with all free-to-play items from previous events, and tracking down all 20 will award the player with a large XP lamp and all members items from previous events.
To start the event, players may talk to the Cook's Brother in Lumbridge castle (although it's not necessary) to receive a turkey book from him, which records the turkeys found by the player so far.

Turkeys have a small wander radius and show up as yellow dots on the minimap.

- All of the turkeys are named after Jagex Moderators.
- Turkey Ana's examine is a reference to the show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
- Turkey Timbo's examine may be a reference to the song Timber by Pitbull.
- Turkey JD has a combat level of 3, unlike other turkeys which have no level at all.
- Turkey Boko's examine text may be a reference to a time when Mod Boko accidentally emailed hundred's of players.
