1337mage43 is one of the non-player characters contacted with the Lunar spell NPC Contact using the 'Random' selection. He is one of the few player spoofs that one can interact with, the others being Botros in Court Cases, and Max the Max Cape keeper. His name reads "leet mage" in leetspeak, which means "elite mage".
