Unfortunately the Knowledge Base article uses both terms; so it is about an equal split. Since the title heading of the article is Teleportation Spells, I would suggest a move to Teleportation with a note in the article, and a redirect from this article. Gnome Glider[]
I don't think that using a gnome glider is teleportation. It's transportation, definetely, but it isn't magic, and I thought that was part of teleporting. -- Couchpotato99 03:55, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

- It isn't really instantaneous, though. You get a cutscene of a map and the glider moves from your current location on the map to wherever you are going, and then you are there. What about an "other items" section?[]
There are other items which do effect a true magical teleport other than jewelry, such as the skull sceptre and the items mentioned at the beginning of the article. These need to be researched and included. Mathwhiz90601 06:53, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

As per the the policy RS:IMAGE, all articles have a limit of 2 animations each. I counted a whopping 11 animations. Should we remove 9 of them, or can this article keep them? Opinions pl0x. --

- I noticed this too - I would suggest a separate Teleport Animation page, perhaps with a more consistent player in the image. This would have the added advantage of having the images all in one place for easy comparison, instead of spread out over a very large page. An example frame (in PNG form) could be kept in the current location where the animations are now, with a link to the animation page in the caption. random event teleport[]
I am positive the big update that changed how random events were paid (to the you chose box) removed a number of random events and this one was one i think but don't have reference to be sure in text Qazwiz 04:57, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
Entrana Magic Door Portal Teleport[]
Jagex has updated this teleport (not sure when), it now no longer teleports you into the wilderness, instead it teleports you next to the Draynor Mini-obelisk near the willows. I'm sorry but I really dont understand :P Wiki says: "Tephra is fragmental material produced by a volcanic eruption regardless of composition, fragment size or emplacement mechanism.[1]". Telemap[]
Very nice and even more useful, but it needs updating. The world (map) has changed adn also, it's not complete - it doesn't have all teleports. It's missing the Move-Over-Distance orbs of Olak. Maybe it's worth putting the wilderniss obilisk in there too, and the eagle transportation system, River Lum logs/boats. We also have the gamer's Grotto, that changed a teleport or two. I think I included all the missing forms of teleportation, but nobody's perfect. I'm also working on a version of the map to include other forms of transportation (spirit trees, magic carpets, etc) although I didn't think it was correct to include them on the teleportation page image. Sounds like a really good idea. I'm just a bit worried to it making it too confusing. Also because there will be certain pathways u need to follow. (like the carpets, u cant go the Polly right away from Shantay... and making it clear with lines may be quite chaotic :S) . . . Yours,

the teleportation items section is missing the ethereal head. they fuction almsot exactly like a wicked hood but with the added ability to teleport to the yellow wizard 5 times per day when in runespan. 66.25.169.43 07:24, August 10, 2015 (UTC)
Dragon zamorakian tokens, etc.[]
Dragon zamorakian tokens allow teleportation past level 30 wilderness, and as far as I know, they are the only such f2p items except similar "god tokens." I am not sure what god tokens there are though, and I don't know which levels allow teleportation. 5512tyuiop (talk) 21:37, May 14, 2017 (UTC)
